Your important questions, answered.

The Questions and Answers are designed to draw your attention to some important matters that you should consider before deciding to enter a Lifestyle Village.

What are the benefits to me of considering a move to a Lifestyle Village?
  • The chance to free yourself of the responsibilities of a larger home, with the chance to travel at short notice safe in the knowledge that all is well at home. Freedom! The path to secure, supportive "ageing" can be found in a Lifestyle Village. The words "Village and Community" resonate-both providing welcoming security and support.
  • When considering entering a Village with a Leasehold and a Deferred Management Fee Structure please consider the following carefully: A Deferred Management Fee is an entirely fair and just fee offering very good value in relation to the needs that are satisfied by the accommodation transition to a Lifestyle Village. Particularly a Village offering full maintenance and gardening services, 24 hour emergency call systems and the very many and varied auxiliary health and lifestyle services, activities and social and recreational functions available to you.
  • Friendship and good company offered by a Village lifestyle which gives you broad choices of activities to be taken up at your leisure, or simply enjoy the comforts of home.
  • The support and interest of staff whose aim is to ensure you enjoy a stress free lifestyle.
  • Security in the knowledge that should you require extra care you are welcome to arrange outside health services to visit you within the Village.
  • The knowledge, comfort and satisfaction that it brings your family as they realize you are part of a caring Village community, whilst they remain no more than a phone call away and welcome at any time. (Relatives often find themselves anticipating social evenings at the Village as much as residents).
